 because of the material that they use
 these are flat resistance bands by
 theraband so i like in this set that
 there&amp;#39;s different resistance some
 a light a medium and a heavy here the
 light
 is often a great place to start when
 you&amp;#39;re just starting to work on strength
 training
 other times i like to go with something
 heavier but i&amp;#39;m really
 looking to play with the resistance and
 work on that strengthening
 another one of my favorite things to do
 with these resistance bands is to
 stretch my shoulders
 so take a wide grip and i&amp;#39;ll just take
 it all the way around and behind and
 there&amp;#39;s a nice big stretch there
 i started using theraband probably about
 four or five years ago
 i decided to go with theraband because
 of the
 quality of the material other ones i&amp;#39;ve
 used snap
 and it&amp;#39;s definitely not something that i
 want to happen while i&amp;#39;ve got my
 foot in a strap and have things come
 flying back at my face so
 it makes me feel more secure and more
 safe when i&amp;#39;m using these knowing that
