Using a meditation cushion is a great way to make sure you're sitting with your hips higher than your knees. This helps prevent you from slouching. Ivorie Jenkins is a Yoga therapist and E-RYT 500 who has dedicated herself to the practice, study, and teaching of Yoga since it revealed its benefits during her professional dance career. After receiving a B. A. in Communication Studies from Northwestern University, Ivorie embarked on a fifteen-year professional dance career.
