How-To Teach the Place Command

Dog Trainer Rachel Sample shows you her process for teaching a dog the "place" command. To get started, you'll need training treats and a cot or place board. The goal is to get all four of your dog's paws on the cot but remember to stay patient as your pup might get nervous at first. Rachel will also teach you variations that you can use to practice the "place" command with your dog once they get used to the basics. Check out Rachel's How-To for the full training exercise.
